About Alyssa

Alyssa business owner before business coach

I built a boutique design and marketing agency that generated increasing revenue month after month, yet still felt trapped by how much of me it required to maintain.

At the time, I thought the answer was more strategy. Better systems. More growth. More optimization.

But eventually, I realized the real issue wasn’t just how the business was structured. It was how much of me the business still depended on to function.

My attention.
My responsiveness.
My decision-making.
My emotional capacity.

And I started noticing something deeper: my business itself had quietly been shaped around my own habits and patterns too.

How available I felt I needed to be.
How much responsibility I carried personally.
How difficult it was to let go of control (even with a team).
How much I tied good service to delivering just a little bit extra.
How often I stepped in because I believed I could do it better myself.

No matter how much the business grew, I was still sitting at the center of everything.

That realization completely changed the way I understood business growth and what actually creates sustainable freedom inside a business.

For over 15 years, I’ve built and operated businesses while navigating the realities of growth, leadership, operational pressure, and the evolving relationship between success and quality of life.

That experience now shapes the way I work with established business owners today.

What I Believe

I believe businesses are deeply shaped by the person running them.

How we make decisions.
What we tolerate.
How available we feel we need to be.
How much responsibility we carry.
What we believe success is supposed to look like.

I believe sustainable business growth comes from creating a business that supports your life, not one that consumes all of it.

I believe self-trust matters.
Clear boundaries matter.
Meaningful relationships matter.
And success becomes far more powerful when it’s built in a way that focuses on the life you want, your health, your family, and who you are inside of it.

The women I work with are often deeply intuitive, thoughtful, driven, and capable. My work helps them bring that same level of clarity and intention into the way they operate inside their business too.

My Journey

Alyssa & Chris

There was a period in my business where I constantly felt behind.

At times, I had more work than I could realistically sustain. Other times, I was chasing growth without fully questioning what I actually wanted my life to look like alongside it.

The business was growing, but my life wasn’t expanding with it in the same way.

Over time, I started redefining success for myself more intentionally.

Not just around revenue, but around freedom, capacity, relationships, travel, health, and the ability to actually enjoy the life I was building alongside the business.

That shift changed not only how I operated personally, but how I approached business growth entirely.

That is now the foundation of how I work with my clients.

Not just as a coach, but as a business owner who has personally experienced the pressure, responsibility, overextension, and operational challenges that so many founders quietly carry while trying to sustain growth.

My Personal Life

Alyssa & familyOutside of business, I’m most grounded in nature.

I live in Mount Shasta, CA, where I spend a lot of time exploring rivers, trails, and quiet places outdoors with my daughter & husband

One of the things I value most now is having the space to actually experience life while she grows: watching her curiosity, independence, and understanding of the world expand in front of my eyes.

That desire for a fuller life outside of work deeply shapes the way I think about business now too.

I believe success should create more room to live, not less.
